We've just released version 3.4.20.0 of the launcher, which includes beta support for ARM devices, and also preparations for translations and multilanguage support. Previously ATLauncher didn't work too well with ARM devices, and with this update, we've added support for running Minecraft on ARM devices. We've conducted extensive tests and it should work flawlessly. However, if you are using an ARM device and have issues, please contact us in Discord to inform us of the issue. We now fully support ARM devices. In the last few weeks, we've been preparing the launcher to work with multiple languages, and while we're still not there yet, we're close and the final step to get going is to ensure that the translations are all up to date and completed so that the UI can be worked on to accommodate the different languages. If you're proficient in English and another language and would like to help with the translation of the launcher, visit our CrowdIn page and contribute to translating. Feel free to contact us in the #translations channel of our Discord. Jul 11, 2022 Mojang accounts cannot be used online any longer Numerous issues are being raised with regard to the inability of logging into online servers with an account that has not been migrated Mojang account. It seems as though Microsoft has pulled the support for Mojang accounts and to play on servers online now, you need to transfer your account to one that is a Microsoft account since the old API's that are used to manage sessions within the game no longer are working. This may just be a bug however, more likely it's a deliberate decision and you won't be able to sign in to Mojang's servers online using Mojang accounts from now on. May 18, 2022 - CurseForge Modpacks Project Distribution Toggle When CurseForge announced that an official api was planned for third-party developers to use, there was a caveat. CurseForge projects could decide whether third-party downloads are permitted for their projects. This means that any mod on CurseForge could choose to stop distribution of their mods to all third parties. This change will be effective as of today. It will affect modpack downloads from CurseForge. Modpacks that contain modifications that block third parties from downloading them could require additional steps to manually download the mods through your browser to complete the installation process. Similar procedures will be followed in any mods that are added to instances from CurseForge also. If you see any difficulties downloading CurseForge modpacks or mods, please contact us via our Discord channel. May 17 2022 Modrinth Modpacks Are Available Modrinth Modpacks are now available in an Alpha state. If you're not unfamiliar, Modrinth is a mod (and now modpack) platform that can be used as an alternative to CurseForge. Modrinth is open-source and is in the midst of active development. ATLauncher offers support for both exporting instances to the Modrinth format that is ready to upload to Modrinth and downloading and installing pre-made packs.
