I don’t think you’ve said it more then once or twice, lol. It doesn’t bother me until someone does it incessantly (like my ex) and I can tolerate it on occasion from people I like.

Its just more irritating when strangers use endearing terms. I don’t like it.

I am all for making up nicknames because I make up my own for most everyone I know (because I’m bad with just names for some reason) but I make them “unique” to only that person.

Any of the other nicknames you mentioned are fine. Its only “hon” that really bugs me and I have no idea why.

My smart-ass comedian ex may have conceded to calling me “hon”….but he called me “cuntface” ever since then instead (and still does). But I call him “Cancer-Boy” all the time, so its fair, lol.

And my Army-Ranger ex still calls me “SB” as a pet name. That is short for “SuperBitch”. But never said in a nasty or demeaning manner.

I’m well aware that I probably am both a “cuntface” and “superbitch” more often then I am a “hon”…….lmao!!

So don’t worry. You’re in the clear, daaaaarling :)

*And I tend to call people “darling” which is often mistaken as condescending and its not…..so I’m probably being a hypocrite.*
