The Transmission is located between the engine and the driving wheels. It converts the power generated during the engine’s combustion process into momentum which drives the wheels. So, you can say that the Transmission is responsible for getting the entire car moving. Transmission also aids in engine working efficiently and powerfully with less amount of fuel consumption
