Our journey began with a deep love for food, family, and community. Our founder, Gus Obeid, grew up in Palestine, where he watched his Mother and Aunts prepare beautiful, abundant plates of food. Platters brimming with freekeh, pomegranate, couscous, and the freshest produce were a common sight, reflecting the generosity and spirit of his family.
Inspired by these experiences, Gus developed a passion for food and a desire to bring people together. "In my culture, food is everything," says Gus. "It's how we do business, celebrate, and support each other. Food defines, sustains, and unites us. It may sound cliché, but food really is love! I'm grateful to run a business that lets me share this joy with others."
